I thought this book was going to be for the YA sort, based on The cover Art. I soon found out it read so much deeper and intelligent than many YA novels. This story’s hard to categorize and I give kudos to the author for standing strong and not forcing her book intro a genre it doesn’t belong just to get more sales. This is truly a gem which gorgeous writing and real life decisions, twisting plots and heartache. Book two is supposed to be completed soon and I can barely wait. An early reviewer said it was much more intense and exciting. Yipes! I highly recommend this book for the historical story keeping the modern characters weaving through the past quite realistically As we would all relate to their reactions.

GIN WESTCOTT is the author of the Historical Adventure/Time-Travel fiction TANGLE OF TIME and is currently writing book two of the series. She comes from a creative world and spent years working in big Los Angeles advertising agencies as an award-winning art director and currently is a designer. Gin has an unlimited imagination bursting with ideas and found writing novels the perfect outlet. She is passionate about human rights, animal cruelty, gender equality, and injustice and finds these core values working their way into her fresh storylines. Having a dry, quirky sense of humor, she spawns unique, compelling characters that weave their way through exciting, yet often unsettling, situations. Gin is the mother of two great kids, two little dogs, and wife of the amazing Scott.
