Near the end of the last Ice Age 12,800 years ago, a giant comet that had entered the solar system from deep space thousands of years earlier, broke into multiple fragments. At least eight of the fragments hit the North American ice cap, while further fragments hit the northern European ice cap. What an insightful book! If you are on the fence about buying this book, JUST DO IT! There is no doubt you will truly enjoy this book. Graham really delves deep into the possibilities that envelop this fascinating topic. I love the way Graham sticks to his guns despite relentless opposition from mainstream academia. I couldn't stop listening from the first moment it started. Its also a delight to have it read aloud by Graham himself. A very stimulating book and I can't wait to start "America Before." Excellent ideas conveyed in an exceptional manner by Graham Hancock. He really takes the myths and stories of ancient cultures and puts them together with archeological findings in an attempt to make his case that humanity is, "A species with amnesia."

Intellectually stimulating, you are captivated or perhaps more accurately spell bond by Mr. Hancock one cannot stop from beginning to the end. Knowledge has been dropped. Take heed.
