Bible with most archaic words and grammar updated to a more common English style. Based in part on the 1901 ASV. Literal translations are generally used to preserve accuracy. Gender is translated literally. New manuscript evidence is integrated. The name of God is translated as Yahweh. Plural forms of you are shown with a superscript plus sign. The New Testament is placed before the Old. The book of John is before Matthew. John ends at 19:35. Luke chapters one and two are not included. The Book of Matthew and the ending of Luke were reconstructed. Acts is not included. Sirach is included. First Maccabees is reconstructed and included.

Ratings and reviews

The new Testament is combined with Genesis, so they aren't labelled. The old testament books are labelled. Don't see the likes of Maccabees as advertised, but maybe they are in there somewhere. I hadn't listen to the whole Bible reading yet. But his voice is clear to listen to.

I could not find the New Testament books, even in Genesis as described by others. Worthless. Not worth the $2.00 I paid for it, not to mention my time.

Awesome! I just can't find the Bible when I come back. They need to make it easier to navagate the pages
