This book depicts the charm, beauty and grace of autumn in Kashmir. Abhay Sarkaria is an Indian author and poet known for his short stories, poems and novels in English. His poetry is notable for its poetic structures and musicality, most evident in ‘Crossing The Seven Seas’, ‘Rose In Her Shawl’, 'Summer Nights' and ‘Dust Of Stars’.

                  Most of his poems were written in unique rhythmic forms that do not follow any recognized rhyming structure. ‘Ghuhels‘, 'Leaves under the Stars' and ‘The Golden Orion‘ are his major works. His images appear carefully ordered in a patterned sequence, and his poems include themes of love, war, travel, wilderness, and loss.
