Holly was a known sex worker and the running theory is that she may have been engaged in activity with the taxi driver when it rolled over the side. Maddie doesn’t buy it. Holly’s rucksack contains seemingly random and worthless items but Maddie quickly finds numerous links to a crime boss. Maddie must stop a powerful man who exploits and control women. It’s a tense and thrilling ride as the net closes in. But time is running out to save Kelly.

Charlie Gallagher was a serving UK police officer for 13 years. During that time he had many roles – starting as a front-line response officer, he became a member of a specialist tactical team and finally a detective investigating serious offences. Charlie left to concentrate on writing full time.

Antonia Beamish performed with Circus Archaos before being awarded a scholarship to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts NYC. She returned to London and was cast as Rita in Educating Rita for a European tour. She has recorded numerous audiobooks and was the princess warrior in Larian Studios's Divinity: Original Sin. Last year she starred in Triggered, a four hander about the inner workings of the Labour Party.
