Every word we speak is an indestructible force, because it affirms a thought, a sentiment, an emotion, a motive, which never ceases to exert its power. Jesus evidently recognized that words are real forces, for He said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away.” Material things might pass away, but His word was a force which could never cease to exercise its power.
