He is the editor of the anthology The Innovator’s Cookbook and the founder of a variety of influential websites. Johnson also writes for Time, Wired, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal. He lives in Marin County, California, with his wife and three sons.

George Newbern's film credits include Father of the Bride 1 and 2, Adventures in Babysitting, and Dadnapped. He has guest starred on many television series, including Scandal, The Mentalist, Private Practice, CSI: Miami, and Numb3rs.
