Its more like a good summary of basic small talk rules. Nothing new if you have already read or seen youtube videos about it. Was expecting more communication advice in different life situations (i.e. friends&family, relationship, work etc.), where people already know eachother and are engaging on a regular basis. More advice on conflict and negotiation perhaps... There' s a book called "How to talk, so kids will listen and how to listen, so your kids will talk", which i can recommend here. It dwells much more into psychological and emotional aspects of our interactions and the importance of empathy. Its spiked with examples to help understand and eventhough its about kids and education, the basics can also be applied to adult interactions.

It is good to be reminded of these skills if you are working with people and counseling them. Some of them I found came natural to me as I invest my entire life in being fully there for people in their needs and pains. This book does teach you some important and overlooked facts that are helpful for all of us, as they may be our blind spots. It also gives you real life examples to support the points. There are quite a few very helpful tips in there. It is especially good for people who are socially challenged.
