You can't get a pickle from simply baptizing a cucumber as the author highlights. Similarly, there is a need for me to dwell in these teachings, which in my opinion are biblically-based, deliberately and diligently, so I may experience the full soaking of the solution and become like a pickle in pursuit of being a disciple of Jesus.
