Overall this a decent alien fated mates book. There was so much miscommunication bewteen the 2 characters. I was constantly screaming for Crux to tell her 'she's your mate'. There was a lot of repetition in the wording of the story. I found it off that her lawyer mom lived in this massive house but is doing does housework and has no maid. I wish there was more world building, especially for Crux's planet, we only get bite sized pieces bc they spend so much time on the other alien planet. But the most disappointing thing was the ending x) like What?! It was so Rushed. We get no answers to if they get an hea. Does his dad approve? Do they move to his planet and she become queen? Any kids? Do his brothers like her? Where's the epilogue? I listened to the audio book and the narrator was perfect for the male, but the female voice had me giggling throughout, but it had a great pacing and was very well done. I'd definitely listen to it again.

Courtney couldn't believe that Crux could be attracted to her. After all he's a dragon prince looking for his fated mate! So when he rescues her from her slavers and continues to take care of her, she knows it's only temporary, even though she's starting to fall for him and soon she'll be returning to Earth. Crux doesn't know what it is about Courtney that he finds so alluring, he's there trying to find his fated mate. It couldn't be her, right? She's human. Funny storyline, I love the confusion and misunderstandings that abound along with the action and adventure of the story. The book is great, but the narrator wasn't my taste (his female voice was off). Will look for the rest of the series as e-book instead.
