Just as exciting and heart felt as The Kitchen House. From the point of view of Jamie Pike,the son of Belle and the young Master from the first novel, as well as a 12 year old free black boy named Pann. We also hear from Miss Sookie from the beginning of her being sold from the first novel. Quite an adventure and an education on the under ground rail road. loved this!
