The relationships between the Siren sisters and the Ocean is the strongest narrative in the story. The romance of Kahlen+Akinli is pretty basic. Nothing really sets Akinli apart from other males as the author wished to portray him, he just happens to be the special one for Kahlen at best. The scene at Akinli's parent's house was beautiful and sweet. The ending felt rushed though and too clean for me. I did like it a lot, just that the romance in its entirety felt more wish fulfillment than not.

I did very much enjoy this book! I loved the story line and the readers voice. I listened to this entire book at work and was upset I finished it before my drive home. That is the one reason I gave this book 4 stars. I guess I liked it so much it left me wanting more.. more story line about everyone!

This is very useful for me. When I first read The Siren, it opened a whole new perspective of life on the ocean for me. It taught me to appreciate our abilities that we can do and others can't. Like when Kahlen couldn't just talk to Akinli when they met for it will have consequences afterwards. Furthermore, I give this audio book a thumbs up 👍 but I prefer to actually read to literal book (it's only my opinion) I love The Siren and most importantly The Selection, it made me cry at times😭❤ But I adore Keira Cass for making me buy one of the best books in existence 😉😀😄
