About this audiobook

Lose your life to save it… The first will be last… The meek will inherit the earth… Many of Jesus' claims clashed with common sense and turned logic on its head. But these are the very things that are so compelling about following him—the very things that can change the entire trajectory of your life.

Lee Strobel—author of the bestselling book The Case for Christ—burrows deep into the wildest claims of the Bible about life with God: how we can grow in virtue, relate to others with authenticity, earn a living with integrity, and make a difference even in the midst of a culture that's unraveling at the seams.

Starting with the incredible freedom found in forgiving your enemies, you’ll encounter thirteen counter-cultural, seemingly contradictory beliefs that even many Christians find difficult to wrap their minds around—claims such as:

  • A dose of doubt may strengthen your faith.
  • God has a cure for your secret loneliness.
  • You can make a difference that will last for eternity.
  • Playing it safe is the most dangerous way to live.

God's Outrageous Claims will not only challenge your existing presuppositions, this book offers a fresh, enlightening perspective on a purposeful and fulfilling life journey guided by God's teachings. A profound read for both believers and skeptics alike
