It was a dark and stormy night in London, and the old bridge cast a foreboding shadow over the Thames River. A group of friends, including Emma, Tom, and Sarah, had decided to take a late-night stroll along the riverbank, drawn by the eeriness of the ancient structure. As they approached the bridge, they could hear the sound of a haunting nursery rhyme being sung in the distance.
"London Bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down, London Bridge is falling down, my fair lady," the eerie voice continued to chant.
"What the hell is that?" Tom asked, looking around nervously. "It sounds like it's coming from the bridge."
"We should go check it out," Sarah said, her curiosity piqued.
The friends made their way onto the desolate bridge, the rhythmic chants growing louder with each step. As they reached the center of the structure, the singing stopped abruptly, and a heavy fog enveloped them.
"What's going on?" Emma whispered, her breath visible in the cold night air.
"I don't like this," Tom said, feeling a chill run down his spine.
Suddenly, the fog cleared, and the friends found themselves face to face with a ghostly figure standing in front of them. It was a young girl, with pale skin and vacant eyes, dressed in a tattered Victorian-style dress.
