I couldn’t finish the book because I didn’t like how it had sex trafficking (including threat of for a 9 year old), kidnapping, injection of illicit substances without consent, and the threat of non-consensual sex (I didn’t listen far enough to see if it was realized). Peyton didn't deserve all that after her hard childhood and deep hurt caused by the man she loved choosing another. Not my idea of romance!

I enjoyed all the twists and turns that are in this story. There's also a lot of spice. If your preference is highly dramatic spicy Romance stories then this is the one for you. Trigger warning: this does include kidnapping, human trafficking among other possible triggers. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
