About this audiobook

The New York Times bestselling series is sure to become your child's new favorite audio recording! The Rainbow Fish, with his shimmering scales in all colors, is the most beautiful fish in the ocean. The other fish would love to have glittering scales too, but vain Rainbow Fish doesn't want to give away his wealth and beauty. This soon makes him very lonely. It is only when he shares with the other fish that he experiences happiness... It is the universal message at the heart of this simple story about a beautiful fish who learns to make friends by sharing his most prized possessions that gives the book its lasting value. In this audio book, ten stories featuring Rainbow Fish are read aloud and accompanied by music. They are spoken and sung by Taylor Meskimen, who grew up listening to The Rainbow Fish herself. Included stories: The Rainbow Fish | Rainbow Fish to the Rescue! | Rainbow Fish Finds His Way | You Can't Win Them All, Rainbow Fish | Good Night, Little Rainbow Fish | Rainbow Fish Discovers the Deep Sea | Rainbow Fish and the Big Blue Whale | The Rainbow Fish and the Sea Monsters' Cave | Rainbow Fish and the Storyteller | Merry Christmas, Rainbow Fish

Beautifully narrated edition of a children's classic. I loved reading this book, to my kids when they were small. and this audio version is a wonderful complement to the printed book.

About the author

Marcus Pfister was born in 1960 in Bern, Switzerland. After attending art school in Bern and receiving training in graphic artistry, he worked from 1981 to 1983 in an advertising agency. In 1984, he left the agency to focus on his own art, namely picture books. He published his first picture book, "The Sleepy Owl", in 1986, but it wasn't until 1992 that he truly broke through as an internationally acclaimed children's author with "The Rainbow Fish". Since then he has received several international awards, and his works have been translated into over 50 languages worldwide. Pfister and his family still live in Bern, where he continues to create more beloved children's books.
