About this audiobook

Technical analysis studies market trends, price patterns, and collective investor behavior through the analysis of historical price charts and trading volumes. It provides an essential resource for any investor. Learn it today!

Technical analysis may appear complicated on the surface, but it boils down to an analysis of supply and demand in the market to determine where the price trend is headed. In other words, technical analysis attempts to understand the market sentiment behind price trends rather than analyzing a security’s fundamental attributes. If you understand the benefits and limitations of technical analysis, it can give you a new set of tools or skills that will enable you to be a better trader or investor over the long-term.

Here is a preview of what you'll learn:

  • Basics of technical analysis
  • The right approach
  • Characteristics of technical analysis
  • Risk management
  • The absence of strategy
  • Price action trading
  • And basically everything you need to know to start making your own technical analysis

This book gripped me from beginning to end. While written off by some as melodramatic and emotional, I found Dostoyevsky's portrayal of his character's inner struggles to be real & enthralling. Raskolnikov is probably one of the best "nonsympathetic" characters ever because even so I still felt for him! Honourable mention to Svidrigailov who absolutely fascinated me throughout the story. The brief descriptions of the penal colony in the epilogue made me interested in reading more about Dostoyevs

This is a very good overview of basic technical analysis. It's 15 years old so some of the computer stuff is out of date but the analysis part is fairly timeless. Murphy is, remarkably for the subject, not too dry and does a good job of explaining things. Where the book falls short (and where most books like this do in my opinion, is that it cherry picks its examples and doesn't show much of the cases where the analysis fails or where it can be misapplied. Even so, worth reading.
