More William is an assortment of children's short stories by Richmal Crompton, following his book Just William. William is an eleven-year-old schoolboy, forever scruffy and grimacing. He and his friends Ginger, Henry and Douglas, call themselves the Outlaws. The Outlaws are rivals of the Hubert Lane-ites, with whom they regularly clash. Ginger is almost as windswept, reckless and gritty as William himself. Henry brings an air of wisdom and thoughtfulness to the team.
