About the author

Karyn Z. Sproles is the dean of faculty development and director of the Center for Teaching & Learning at the United States Naval Academy. She is the author of Desiring Women: The Partnership of Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackville-West and Reflective Reading and the Power of Narrative: Producing the Reader.

Kim Niemi has appeared on numerous stages in the Boston area as an actor and singer/songwriter. Kim is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and a proud member of Actors' Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA. Her voice has been described as soothing, soulful, and powerful.
