Loved reading the mesmerizing and engaging story. Since Henri needs to infiltrate the trafficking ring, The Jewelry Box, he purchases Illy for them and hopes that he doesn't get sucked into becoming like his father, a sadistic man. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and a must read riveting story. Can't wait too read the next story in the series by the phenomenal author, Pepper Winters!

I purchased this book as well as received an ALC of the audiobook. It's perfection being able to submerge myself reading & listening so there is little interruption as I move about my day. I was enraptured with the story. The storyline is dark & heartbreaking. I can't help being mad at Q at the moment. Henri is fighting for not only his life but Ily's life as well. I was sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time. That ending!? I can't wait for the next book! Loved the voices of the narrat
