Who is Peter Mathias
A British economic historian, Peter Mathias served as the Chichele Professor of Economic History at the University of Oxford. He was also a former professor at the university. The book that brought him the most fame was titled "The First Industrial Nation: an Economic History of Britain 1700-1914," and it was published in 1969.
