With Miles Cavanaugh’s recent trade to the Chicago Grizzlies this brings us a new cast of characters to fall in love with. With this story we get to know some of the players, and I cannot wait to see their stories come to life in future books. Narrated by Stephen Dexter and Stephanie Kay they did an entertaining job with their performances. Their voices are easy to listen to and they brought the fun and intensity of the characters to life for me, and I am excited for the next release.

This is a short prequel to the Chicago Grizzlies Series, and a great introduction to Miles and Bryce's story. Stephen Dexter and Stephanie Kay did a great job bringing this story to life. Looking forward to listening to Something like Hate, the first book in the series!

On the Defense is exactly what you want from a prequel, just enough to get you interested but not too much that you know what’s coming.
