Estelle Paradise wakes up in a hospital after being found near dead at the bottom of a ravine with a fragmented memory and a vague sense of loss. Then a terrifying reality sets in: her seven-month-old daughter, Mia, is missing. Frustrated and unable to explain her daughter's disappearance, Estelle begins a desperate search. Born in Fulda, Germany, Alexandra Burt is a writer and freelance translator whose short fiction has appeared in Freedom Fiction Journal, All Things Girl, and MUSED Literary Review. Alexandra is a proud member of Sisters in Crime. She lives in Texas with her husband, her daughter, and two dogs.

Mia Ellis is a member of the Resident Acting Company at Trinity Repertory Company. Based in Providence and New York, she is also a teaching artist and writer. Some of her film and television credits include Elementary, Person of Interest, and Louder Than Words. Mia is a graduate of the Brown/Trinity Rep MFA Acting Program.
