5 stars for the story. As always, Shelly Laurenston gave me everything I love in a PNR. Action, humor, family and friendship..GODDESS, THE HUMOR. Unfortunately, the narrator did nothing for me. I'm not trying to be rude, but if you've listened to the Pride series as many times as I have, you're accustomed to Charlotte Kane. From the wolves to the lions, that woman gave each character their own sound. No one, and I do mean no one sounded the same.

having read the earlier series it makes me wish the narrator had, wrong accents, wrong personalities in some of the older characters. a little research would have made it a much better audio book. Bold Novikov is not russian, Ulrich VanHoltz is from lots of money and a chef, this book makes him sound like a gangster...
