Ratings and reviews

Came to like it. At first I was critical of the audio experience because the narrator did not know the melody of songs he half read, half sang. I am surprised the author would allow that. Since I knew the melody I could tell that the words without the melody created a void. The book lost the feeling the songs melody and cadence would have imparted to the story. But after Chapter 9 I became sympathetic to the characters and tolerant of the narrator in order to enjoy the book.
