This charming collection of Grimms' Fairy Tales includes "Snow White & Rose Red", "Doctor Knowall", "The Seven Ravens", "King Grisly-Beard" and "The Twelve Huntsmen". Grimms' Fairy Tales was first published in Germany in 1812 as "Kinder und Hausmärchen". This series of recordings is based on the original 1823 English translation by Edgar Taylor, with subsequent editing by Marian Edwardes.

Brothers Jacob Grimm (1785–1863) and Wilhelm Grimm (1786–1859) were German academics, philologists and lexicographers, but they are perhaps best known for their collection of folklore stories published in Kinder und Hausmärchen (1812) that have been a rich source of inspiration for derivative works for more than 2 centuries.
