His credits include roles on Doctor Who and voicing Aslan in the animated version of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Treebeard in the BBC Radio 4 adaptation of The Lord of the Rings. Renowned as a narrator, he has recorded over three-hundred audiobooks and has won a Talkies Award and several Earphones Awards.
