She is also the author of twelve other books, including a cookbook and several books for children. Karon lives in Charlottesville, Virginia.

John McDonough is an audiobook narrator who has narrated a number of books including Come Rain or Come Shine, In This Mountain, Light from Heaven, A New Song, Somewhere Safe with Somebody Good, and Tortilla Flat. In addition to his narration, he has performed with Garrison Keillor and on television on the Fox network.
