I liked this audiobook very much. I particularly enjoyed the way that the house was its own character, and contained so many family secrets. The storyline regarding the death of Emily's sister, Charlotte, was deeply emotional, and my favourite aspect of the novel. Aspects of the plot were contrived, and Emily seemed about 25, if that, rather than 35. However, the positives outweighed the bad, and I can recommend this book to all who love Romance, Chick Lit, and Women's Fiction.

I loved the story, the ending made me want to listen to the next book. It's a shame we cant visibly see the characters I'd love to see the pics Kiera took lol....nooooo I just read the preview to the next book.."her new tour guide"? I to have fallen in love with Shane. kiera cant move on from Shane it's "true love" isnt it? everything the to do with the whole point if thd first book just cant be lost in the second book!
