Extending friendship and kindness, as well as introductions around the local cafe, Jack assumes a grandfatherly role. What he doesn't see is the drinking that Claire hides from everyone, or the secret son that Lib has allowed to move into her house and the growing attraction between Claire and Matt. When the terrible events of a fateful evening threaten everyone's carefully crafted lives, they must each determine the value of truth for the ones they love.

Maggie Ginsberg is an editor at Madison Magazine and a freelance writer for city, regional, and national magazines. Her debut novel, Still True, was the winner of the 2023 WLA Literary Award for Fiction and a finalist for the Women's Fiction Writer's Association STAR Award for Outstanding Debut.

Amy Melissa Bentley is a professional stage and screen actress. A member of SAG-AFTRA, she has performed in Scotland, New York City, and throughout Connecticut.
