Ratings and reviews

This is a fairly good mystery, but would have been better if the reader hadn't read it so fast, scarcely taking a breath. Was she on some sort of time schedule - needed to catch a train? What?? I've generally found that authors reading their own books is not a good idea. In addition, I think a better editing job would have removed the frequently extraneous details. I'd have rated this as 3.5 if 1/2 stars were permitted. The storyIine is a bit different than the usual & I expect to look for the next book in this series.

the author shouldn't be narrator it's horrible i couldn't even get through the first couple chapters. maybe i will read it one day but listen

loved it!! many faceted book that is enjoyable to listen to. the readers (authors) voice was pleasant to listen to.
