Eager to solve her first case, Dotty investigates the mysterious thefts and uncovers a sticky-fingered phantom. But that discovery creates more questions. How did the phantom come to be in Elderton? Why potatoes? Why are the adults in town acting so weird? And what are the strange charms that appeared in the school cafeteria the same day the phantom materialized?

Erik Christopher Martin (also Erik C. Martin) writes novels for children and short stories, particularly horror for adult readers. He is a member of the SCBWI, HWA, and the San Diego Writers and Editors Guild. Has published his first four novels as In a Bind Books. In a Bind began as Erik's indie bookstore. It opened in 2000 and closed just a few years later but has remained his DBA for publishing purposes. Erik is originally from Cleveland, Ohio but currently lives and writes in San Diego, CA. Toni Martin is a voice actress and performer.
