Charlie Gallagher was a serving UK police officer for 13 years. During that time he had many roles – starting as a front-line response officer, he became a member of a specialist tactical team and finally a detective investigating serious offences. Charlie left to concentrate on writing full time.

Antonia Beamish performed with Circus Archaos before being awarded a scholarship to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts NYC. She returned to London and was cast as Rita in Educating Rita for a European tour. She has recorded numerous audiobooks and was the princess warrior in Larian Studios's Divinity: Original Sin. Last year she starred in Triggered, a four hander about the inner workings of the Labour Party.
