Tony Ross has been illustrating books for over 40 years, and has been published all over the world. Tony’s books have been shortlisted for the The Laugh Out Loud Book Awards (Slug Needs a Hug) and the Kate Greenaway (Dr Xargle's Book of Earth Tiggers), and Tadpole’s Promise won the Silver Medal Smarties Prize. He has been named as the bestselling illustrator in the UK for three years in a row, and he is the UK libraries' most-borrowed illustrator. He lives in Rutland.
Jilly Bond is a British stage and screen actress. She has performed in theatres all over the British Isles and Germany, in plays by William Shakespeare, George Bernard Shaw, Oscar Wilde, Neil Simon and numerous other writers. Bond has worked extensively on radio (including the role of Bridget in The Archers) and has recorded hundreds of unabridged audiobooks (some award-winning). She has also appeared in TV series such as Doctors, Judge John Deed, Alistair McGowan's Big Impression, Comedy Nation and Channel 4's cult hit As If.
