Deborah Bedford is a journalist and bestselling author. Born and raised in Texas, she attended Texas A&M University. She is the coauthor of The Penny, Family Matters, Only You, Remember Me, and more.

Since moving to Los Angeles, Card adapted and starred in the play A Sepulcher of Songs based on a short story by her father, Orson Scott Card.
