SUSIN NIELSEN got her start writing a spec script for the popular television series Degrassi Junior High. She went on to pen sixteen episodes of the hit television show and four of the Degrassi books. Since then, she has received two Canadian Screenwriter Awards and a Gemini Award and has written for many home-grown TV series. Her novel Word Nerd, published to much critical acclaim, was a finalist for the TD Canadian Children's Book Award and won the Red Maple, Rocky Mountain, Willow, and Manitoba Young Readers' Choice Awards. This was soon followed by the hilarious and heartwarming Dear George Clooney, Please Marry My Mom, which has received rave reviews and has already been translated into French, Portuguese and German. Susin Nielsen lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.

ASHLEIGH BALL started her voice career in 2005 playing Oopsy Bear in the computer-animated feature Care Bears: Oopsy Does It! and reprising that role in the CBS Saturday morning series Care Bears: Adventures in Care-a-Lot. Since then, Ashleigh has added over 100 credits to her resume including Blythe in Littlest Pet Shop, Skya in Dinotrux, Jet in Ready Jet Go!, Jay in Beat Bugs, Applejack and Rainbow Dash in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and Mira in The Hollow. Ashleigh is also the lead singer and flute player in the Vancouver-based pop band Hey Ocean!, a young band with an extraordinary talent for blending various musical styles into a brand of infectious pop that is uniquely their own. She also recently released her first solo album, Gold In You.
  Ashleigh lives in Vancouver and bikes to her recording sessions.
