Christopher Lasch (1932-1994) was a historian, moralist, and social critic. His published works include The True and Only Heaven, The Minimal Self, Haven in a Heartless World, and The World of Nations.

David de Vries is a veteran stage actor and award-winning audiobook narrator. He can be seen in a number of feature films, including The Founder, The Accountant, Captain America: Civil War, and Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk.
