Tara's footsteps faltered as she heard a faint whisper, like the soft rustle of leaves in the wind. Her breath caught in her throat as she glanced around, but the empty halls offered no solace. "Hello?" she called out, her voice carrying through the silent corridors. There was no response, only the lingering sound of her own pulse.
As she explored further, the whispers grew louder, resonating through the decaying halls like a haunting melody. Tara's heart quickened as a chill swept over her, sending shivers down her spine. She pressed on, her curiosity outweighing her growing apprehension.
