Since the publication of From the Abandoned Cities in 1983, Donald Revell has been among the more consistent influencers in American poetry and poetics. Derek Pollard is co-author with Derek Henderson of the book Inconsequentia (BlazeVOX, 2010). His poetry, criticism, and translations have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies. He holds a PhD from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he was a Beverly Rogers, Carol C. Harter Black Mountain Institute Fellow in Poetry. Pollard is a professor of English at the Flagship Campus of Keiser University in West Palm Beach, Florida.
