About this audiobook

THE SCIENCE OF BEING GREAT

You Can Become What You Want to Be

That is the heart of this personal-growth classic which includes a new Introduction by PEN Award-winning historian, Mitch Horowitz.

The Science of Being Great, Wallace D. Wattles' final word in self-mastery and his finest work, will be of value to every person who seeks true fulfillment and the awakening of his or her highest potential. With its powerful message, this book is for everyone, at any age, who wants to make the most of themselves. It is a companion work to his other classic, The Science of Getting Rich.

Before writing this timeless lesson in personal power, Wattles studied the wisdom of the world’s religious leaders and great philosophers and then created this summary of that knowledge. In it, he argues that the power of thought and positive self-esteem is the only true measure of a man's greatness. Wattles was a fiery social reformer who was forced out of his Methodist pulpit in northern Indiana after refusing to accept collection-basket offerings from parishioners who ran sweatshops.

Wattles believed that the potential of the individual must be expressed both socially and materially. It is essential to his happiness that he should continually advance. “Life without progress becomes unendurable...”

This remarkable book on how to harness the higher energies of your mind for peak performance has touched generations of listeners. Artists, businesspeople, athletes, and entrepreneurs have all sworn by Bristol's program. Now you can be one of them.
