Very happy the author went back and wrote 'Fallen Out' to give context to how Jesse came to be in the Keys as a charter boat captain. I highly recommend reading that book first. And like Book 1, Fallen Palm is also more a story about life in the Keys with the drama and thriller parts only being a part of the story. There's a bit of repetition with all the time jumps, but still a good story. Finally, do NOT read the synopsis for any future books before you finish this book....or you'll know how this book ends and it will completely wreck the story for you.
