About this audiobook

Audiobook read by Zachary Levi

Radical Love is the debut memoir from actor Zachary Levi (Shazam!,?American Underdog,?The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,?Chuck), which shares his emotional journey through a lifetime of crippling anxiety and depression to find joy, gratitude, and ultimate purpose.

Facing the scars of childhood trauma and the voices in his head that told him he would never be enough, Zac recounts the raw yet honest behind-the-scenes story of:

  • his family life,
  • career successes,
  • and personal disappointments.

This all led Zac to rock bottom and landed him in a therapy center, where he learned to address the underlying issues that preceded his downward spiral. With vulnerability and humor, Zac relates the valuable lessons and insights he’s learned so that you can rise from the ashes of trauma and pursue a meaningful life of gratitude.

Radical Love combines witty, touching, and powerful commentary with relatable illustrations to help you on your own path toward mental wellness.

The story of an angel and his message to the world This story is already incredibly honest and moving, and the fact that it's read by Zachary Levi himself adds real depth to the book. While his journey may be painful to read/hear, everything he says about self-love is a feel-good message that needs to be widely spread. This book positively shook up my perception of life and I hope it can help other readers too.

this was so good! his honesty and vulnerability about his story was touching. I cried and laughed and self reflected on my own past as I listened. he is using his platform and name to reach others in a way I haven't seen yet and it's so important. The way he talks about his faith, and his struggles is truly amazing and humanizing. It can be assuring to know that indeed you are not alone in the struggle. We often think celebrities have it so easy and put them on a pedestal, but at the end of the day, they are human too. There is also a character named Beth in the book. her part in Zach's healing is beautiful and challenges you. I highly recommend this book becuase it is wonderful!

This book was immensely helpful to me on my healing journey. His perspective on self care and navigating difficult parents was unspeakably invaluable to me and I'm sure many others. Although I don't practice organized religion, Zachary daftly expressed his faith in a way that bolstered his journey and I was able to still appreciate his perspective without being overwhelmed by testimony.
