Ratings and reviews

This book was incredibly difficult to get through. Although there were a lot of slang usage from the Malaysian/Singaporean culture, the author does not seem to be using them naturally or accurately... Not many Malaysians/Singaporeans actually speak the way the author had depicted it. Regardless, it's still refreshing to have our culture in mainstream media

I enjoyed reading about different cultures and great storyline. although some of the language was colorful witch was hard for me to digest. I still appreciate the effort of the author in writing such an elaborate detailed of every aspect of the lifestyle.

Very difficult to get through this book on audio. Narration was hard to follow. I did not find it entertaining at all.
