Forresters Sixth Form College has a highly successful drama department run by the odious Danny Woods. For years, the science department was a forgotten and neglected area where Colin and Kenneth could brew their own ales in peace and quiet. Kenneth even devised a self-assessment system where one class taught itself. Then Dr Oates, the head of department died from a massive coronary - probably induced by a butter chicken-laden diet. Alison Hatton, his replacement, is keen and wants to bring in new students. Nothing will be the same again. Ratings and reviews

I love the show. However, the Play Books edition chapter markers don't match the episode. There are 2 episodes per chapter marker, so jumping to your wanted episode is a real hassle. Buy this on audible instead.

Ben Willbond is an actor and comedian whose TV credits include playing Adam Kenyon in BBC2's The Thick of It and appearing with Laura Solon and Marek Larwood in the ITV2 sketch show Laura, Ben and Him. Among his radio credits are Double Science, From Fact To Fiction, Recorded for Training Purposes,The Maltby Collection, Another Case of Milton Jones, Giles Wemmbley Hogg Goes Off, Deep Trouble and Fry’s English Delight.

Justin Edwards is a comedian and actor who came to fame as one of the Perrier Award-winning sketch trio The Consultants. He created the character of Jeremy Lion, a drunken children's entertainer, and has appeared in numerous TV shows including The Thick of It, Respectable and the new version of Are You Being Served? On radio, he and Ben Willbond co-wrote and co-starred in the hit sitcom Double Science. Among Justin Edwards' other radio credits are The News Quiz and In and Out of the Kitchen.
