About this audiobook

In this book, Corey Taylor undertakes something never before attempted in the history of rock superstardom: he takes you with him as he journeys undercover through various ghostbusting groups who do their best to gather information and evidence about the existence of spirits. Some are more credible than others, and, frankly, some are completely insane, but all are observed with appropriate seriousness as Taylor attempts to better understand some of the spooky things that have happened to him in his life, especially that night at the Cold House. But that's not all, folks. Taylor once again gives you a behind-the-scenes tour of his crazy life and the many beyond-the-grave events he's encountered. (You'll be shocked how often Slipknot has been invaded by the supernatural.) Taylor also touches on his religious background and how it led him to believe in much more than the Man in the Sky.

He really drew my interest in the beginning of this book. I too am an agnostic/atheist who has had unexplainable experiences so it felt like he was speaking my language for a minute but I don't like the way he leaves the reader hanging by telling a small part of a story then rambling on about a totally different topic while telling the reader that he'll eventually get back to his crazy story. after awhile of that I lost interest so I didn't get too far past the first part of the book. I was also turned off by his somewhat arrogant attitude and tone..he speaks like every word out of his mouth is something people should be in awe of and he seems to suffer from an inflated ego. this is not surprising for a rockstar but there are many other rock memoirs out there that are humble and interesting (Anthony keidis' for instance) I am interested in Corey's paranormal experiences but he talks too much in between telling these stories..

I purchased this book through audible... but obviously I feel it deserves my review in more than one place. This controversial book is an excellent read for those of us who feed and grow from the knowledge that is gained from the collaberation of others' viewpoints and our own. Buy it and then listen (or read!) with the intrigue that comes with an open mind. To those of you who have read "Seven Deadly Sins" already- I promise that yet again, Corey Taylor will not leave you dissapointed with this book. (The audio version is more expensive, but definitely worth buying if you can listen to it... since Corey Taylor remains true to his dubbed title as the "Great Big Mouth" and narrorates with his own voice!) BUY BUY BUY!!!
