Even if you know him from his books - Mika Karhumaa is more about music business manager. He has been a manager for various artists and industrial needs for nearly three decades, which is the subject matter present in his books. As a result, he is well-equipped to write about it.
He also lectures frequently on the subject, and is currently attached with many Music Business Management studies as a teacher and course planner, with Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences being as one of his favorites.
He studied law at the University of Turku and specializes in international contract law and copyright.
As an artist manager, he has managed Winterborn and Celesty, among others. Over the years, his services have also been utilized by IRENE, Delta Enigma, Gentle Savage, Jennifer Porter, Jack McConnell, and Chronoform.
