This is an incredible story about fantasy mixed with black girl magic (in more way than one!). This is EXACTLY how an inclusive, YA fantasy should be written. best book I've read in a long time.

I literally love this book! This is my 3 time reading it again! If you loved this book, I totally recommend her second book called Bloodmarked.

amazing takes a bit to get going but then the story flows. its creative, and the narrator is excellent
