Ratings and reviews

The "dark romance" romance part is good. I'm glad the books are one unit to purchase or that could have been upsetting. There isn't a lot of character building. If you're looking for just the Dark parts, this series has it on the lighter side. I would give 5 stars if there was more depth. If you're not looking for that, you'll like this series. As for the narrator, Jay, his voices are good. Great fluidity. However, I was not a fan of the female voices. They sound like whiny incompetent women that are damsels in distress. These books would have had a different tone with a different style of read on the female parts. It would have made them better. A woman can be sub, sassy, and strong without whining. They are more attractive without the whining. It gives us females a bad look. Overall, Jay does well. This would be an area for improvement, in my opinion.
