3.5 stars — I thought I would give another series by Ms. Dixon a try, and while this definitely went better than my foray into fireblood dragons, it still didn’t quite hit the mark like the IPB series and spinoffs for me. At least this one had better pacing and tempo. The narrators were solid, same ones as IPB and they do a good job. Fran was nicely sassy, and it was interesting to hear about her experiences.
