This is the second book in this series & picks up where The Diseased ended Humans have destroyed Earth & moved to Earth 2 After finding a cure for a disease which ripped through the settlement Paige and her team are now tasked with finding a cure for the ailing President who she’d rather not save You discover more about the main characters past & are introduced to some strong new personalities, don’t get too attached to any of them though, the author isn’t against killing off key players.

This was a great start to a new series. The character work and story line were well written and kept my attention. The narrator did a fantastic job of breathing life into the story and made this an entertaining listen. I received a copy of this audiobook and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

I loved this, it's such an excellent start to the trilogy and an introduction to the world and it definitely made me want to read more. The characters are interesting and well rounded, the world is fascinating and the story is full of interesting twists and turns. Highly recommended!
